We are scheduling maintenance to fix a persistent issue on our router, this will cause overall downtime whilst our network engineer fixes the underlying issues of which we fixed with a hotfix. We hope to keep the downtime as minimal as possible. Please keep informed here as we under go work.

We are going to be performing some work on our virtfusion infrastructure to allow Virtual machines to communicate to eachother over the network on the same nodes. Upon our BGP Partnet Scaleblade moving their key infrastructure over to another DC (LON2). Our system wasn't able to re-establish a BGP Session with their infrastructure. This lead to extended downtime due to not able to recieve a response from themselves regarding who's infrastructure was at fault. Later we intend to move the router to their infrastructure directly to attempt to mitigate the risks of a situation like this happening again. All is now resolved

We will be carrying our a post-mortem of a process which we have had issues with in the past called "Yam" which is a crypto miner that seems to auto install itself every so often. No Data is at risk. Nor do we intend for downtime. We are just scheduling this maintanance for transparency and formality sake.

We have been lead to believe that one of our main servers has been breached for the use in some form of bitcoin mining scheme called "YAM".
